 Convenient sinus rinse February 7, 2007
I have used a traditional ceramic neti pot for years in order to perform sinus rinses. I was given a NeilMed bottle (by a satisfied new user)and have been quite pleased with it. Its advantage over the neti is that it is lightweight & nonbreakable (packs easily for travel) and, I feel, more easy to clean. I prefer the NeilMed pre-measured buffered solution powder to the traditional neti DIY sea salt, but either solution can be used in either system. The neti pot seems to get somewhat more into "deeper" sinuses, but it is best used in one's own home. Actually, I now use both systems. But more often, I grab the NeilMed bottle.
 Best item I have found to rinse your sinus November 4, 2006
I have tried the water pik system, but I like to be able to have full control as to the using the rinse with the bottle. Less convenient, but personally better for me, as I have had to rinse daily, twice a day due to severe sinus infections, and this has provided no more infections.
