Editorial Comments:

Product Description
Flared Design: Unlike a bulb ear syringe that can damage the ear if inserted too far, the ear wax removal syringe's flared design prevents over insertion.Tri-Stream Tip: Unlike a bulb ear syringe that shoots a straight stream of fluid that can damage the ear drum, the ear wax removal syringe's tri-stream tip safely directs fluid to the ear canal walls.Exit portals: Unlike a bulb ear syringe that must be positioned correctly to allow drainage, the ear wax removal syringe's exit portals drain the ear to prevent fluid buildup.

I have had major ear wax build-up for years. When I tried this product alone, it got a little wax out, but not very much compared to how much was left in my ear. When I used it after putting Similasan Ear Wax Relief drops in my ears for three days, then everything came out. This syringe is good for minor ear wax build-up problems used by itself; for serious ear wax build-up, use it in conjunction with the Similasan Ear Wax Relief drops, and you'll be all set. The three-fold spray helps the water get behind the wax and pushes it out. You can force the water out as hard or as gently as you want, depending on how sore your ear is and how blocked up it is. It's awkward to use by yourself, but it can be done; however, I would recommend having someone else do it for you if possible.
