I haven't had the problem the others had... August 1, 2008 1 out of 1 found this comment useful.
I've used this product, and didn't have the problem the other ladies had. I am not sure if it was fabric content of panties, length of time left on, or quality control/adhesive problems. I've bought this size and the 22 count size, because of size, thinness and the 'no wings' feature. Not everyone likes wings on pads. If I ever experience any problems in the future, I will post it here. So far, I find this excellent and the good reusable wrapper paper comes in handy for disposal of old pad. If I had the problem the others had, I would contact the company. That would be a serious problem.
Poor production and quality control May 12, 2008 4 out of 4 found this comment useful.
I've used this product and others made by Always for years but this is the first time I've had the plastic completely glue to fabric, shredding off large permanently attached shear plastic strips in the most crucial areas in the middle bottom of the pads and after several washings still attached so nothing can remove the thin layer of plastic from the fabric. Bizarre--the plastic is too thin and the glue permanent; it happened with several of the pads and would have with more had I not been extremely careful taking lots of time to watch the plastic while removed--an undesirable task.
Needless to say the "sanitary" and "protection" aspect of this product take an unpleasant turn for the reverse in handling what is exposed when the plastic tears. Either I was sold a defective batch or, their recent product specifications where not sufficiently tested. This is the first time I've ordered this product I usually purchase in a store and I have a big supply now but have little enthusiasm to do so again so will look for a reliable substitute in another brand. Too bad--it was a reliable product for many, many years.
Could be much better August 3, 2007 13 out of 14 found this comment useful.
I did not notice that these pads did not have wings when I ordered them. They do not stay secured in the panty like the ones with wings, and it was a mess. The only plus side is that they are thin. I wish Amazon would carry the one with wings, like they do for the slender pads (Always Ultra Thin Slender Pads with Flexi-Wings, 18-Count Packages (Pack of 6)).
