Product Description You spend approximately 1/3 of your life sleeping. Are you getting the most out of your sleep? Use the #1 NECK PILLOW. The Cervical Linear Traction Neck Pillow can help restore the normal neck C- curve, help you improve your posture, and relieve back and neck pain. The Cervical Linear Traction Neck Pillow offers superior comfort, and provides the proper ergonomic support while you sleep- there is nothing like it on the market. It is non-allergenic, machine machine washable, latex free and fits most standard pillow cases. Used by chiropractors all over the world! The special V shape in the neck pillow cradles your head and gently lifts your head away from your shoulders (much like a massage therapist would do for you). At the same time, the neck roll underneath supports your neck. While sleeping on your side, the generous, soft wings keep your head at the right height from the mattress, to relieve strain on your neck and shoulders. It works for you, sleeping on your back or side. The pressure releases, muscles relax and pain goes away. Designed to work for back and side sleepers. Flip top to bottom to use the neck roll support only. You can use the pillow every night and for the whole time you sleep. The more you can use it the better. However, some individuals may need to gradually increase the usage in stages because of some muscle soreness from such a change from their previous pillow. The Cervical Traction Neck Pillow is comfortable-it is hand stuffed with the best polyester fiber available- its non allergenic and calibrated to the most universally accepted firmness for balance of softness and effectiveness.

cervical pillow July 6, 2008 3 out of 3 found this comment useful.
This is the best pillow I have ever used. I slept very well the very first night with no jaw problems.
Surprisingly Wonderful June 4, 2008 Like anyone who buys a special pillow - I've had neck problems for years. Stiff neck all day, can't fully turn my head to the sides, always sore spots on my neck. I've purchased temper-pedic pillows and water/tri-core pillows from the chiropractor. This is the first time I've actually found relief from a pillow. I used it all night right from the start (pamphlet cautions that you might need to ease into it) and by day three - I feel better than I have in years. I'm mainly a side sleeper, so I need something that's still effective when I'm on my side (most special pillows are only for sleeping on your back). Wow. I'm really surprised by the difference. It is pricey, but for me, it's worth every penny.
It's OK May 19, 2008 4 out of 5 found this comment useful.
It's an OK pillow. It's comfortable enough but I did not receive any great relief like some of the other reviewers.
If I could sleep on my back it might work better for me. I have tried but I can lay there on my back for an hour and not go to sleep. It's not uncomfortable, I'm just a side sleeper. This pillow offers support for sleeping on the side, as long as it's to the left or right of center. It is a little lumpy but that doesn't bother me. Sometimes I lay on it, on my back, for about 15 minutes and then roll over to the side and go to sleep.
It's one size fits all. If you are a small person you might want to look elsewhere but you can turn the pillow over if it's too tall for your neck. There's more than one way to use the pillow.
This pillow does fit inside a normal size pillow case; just barely.
The biggest negative with this pillow for me is the price. With tax and shipping it's 70 non-refundable dollars and then you may or may not like it. If I had it to do over again I would probably try the other, more expensive pillow I was looking at; but then it might not be any better. Either way it's a gamble, but if your neck hurts too much it may be worth it.
I love it. No more pain or stiffness. December 5, 2007 8 out of 8 found this comment useful.
This pillow is fabulous. I had neck pain with tingling radiating down my arm to my index finger. (Obviously a bulging cervical disk/pinched nerve.) To treat myself, I stopped my usual exercise routines for awhile to let myself heal, took anti-inflammatories for a couple of weeks, bought this pillow and the books "Treat Your Own Neck Pain" and "Treat Your Own Back Pain." Long and short, I was 100% better after a few weeks without the huge expenditure of time and money required for treatment by doctors or physical therapists. A few months later, and I'm still pain free and have no physical restrictions whatsoever. I have to wonder if the people who found the pillow uncomfortable did not follow the directions that say to ease into using it by gradually increasing the time of use. I, too, found it a bit uncomfortable at first, but that quickly passed by using it as directed. I'm still using it now b/c I'm such a believer. It provides light cervical traction while lying on your back (with an optional simple neck support if you turn it around). Better yet (at least for me), for long term use, it provides perfect support for your neck when sleeping on either side so long as you move to the proper position on the pillow as indicated by the directions. I split my time between the US and Europe, and this pillow always goes with me. It's one of the best purchases I've made.
Pain-free all day! November 2, 2007 8 out of 8 found this comment useful.
I have been dealing with back and neck pain for 10+ years. My x-rays show a complete loss in the curvature of my neck, a permanent head tilt, and a curvature in my spine to compensate for my head tilt. I've been to the chiropractor again and again, tried roll pillows under my neck at night (so uncomfortable) and popped tons of advil. Minimal relief.
Then I ordered this pillow. The first night I used it I woke up the next morning with much less pain than usual. The next night I slept soundly and had even less pain in the morning. I have been using this pillow every night for three weeks now, and I wake up feeling great. The best part is, my neck is still okay by the end of the day! The pain stays at bay.
Sure the pillow takes a little getting used to, you can't move around much, but I am willing to sacrifice rolling around in bed at night for a pain free tomorrow!
This is the money well spent!
