Product Description Occlusal-HP is the only liquid medication I recommend patients buy to help resolve their warts. 17% Salicyclic Acid (BHA) effectively softens the lesion and helps to debride the excess skin that is the primary source of discomfort.
Can definitely be combined with dermatologic care including liquid nitrogen therapy.
Not to be applied to blisters or raw skin. NOT for use on the face, lips, genital or eyelid areas.
Diabetics need to check with their doctors before using this product.

the only product that really works November 11, 2008 I purchased Occlusal HP on the advice of my podiatrist for plantar warts. The pharmacy wanted to sell me on of the less expensive over the counter remedies, pointing out the salcylic acid content is the same. Those have never worked for me though, I was willing to pay the extra buck on the advice of my doctor. With patience and diligence, Occlusal HP has been an effective cure for plantar warts. A word of caution, it does take a long time, longer if the wart has gone untreated as long as mine had. It is also very helpful to purchase a "scraper" and scrape/apply medication routinely to the affected area. I have avoided going for a pedicure because I was so embarassed by my plantar warts. Finally, I can wear the strappiest of sandals and have my feet pampered again!

Remove your Plantar Wart April 17, 2006 14 out of 14 found this comment useful.
My dermatologist spotted a Plantar Wart on the bottom of my foot and asked me if I wanted him to give me something to get rid of it. I was surprised when he just wrote the name of Occlusal HP on a piece of paper with no prescription. I used the stuff according to the instructions on the bottle and twice a day soaked my foot and applied the HP. Wart had been years old, so it took a couple of months to go away and that was six years ago! After that I got another and carefully compared the store brand to Occlusal HP and the ingredients were exactly the same, and the price much cheaper. I tried the store brand and it was not effective at all! Don't ask me why, but pay the $20 for the real stuff, or you will waste your time like I did. I do not work for the company; I'm only trying to steer you straight!
