Product Description Neuroscience is a comprehensive textbook created primarily for medical, premedical, and undergraduate students. In a single concise and approachable volume, the text guides students through the challenges and excitement of this rapidly changing field. The book s length and accessibility of its writing are a successful combination that has proven to work equally well for medical students and in undergraduate neuroscience courses. Being both comprehensive and authoritative, the book is also appropriate for graduate and professional use.

I love Neurobiology!!! October 23, 2008 I love this book. It is very informative and in a way that is understandable and not complicated. Also, there is an online study help with the book that is very helpful and informative.
super October 6, 2008 saved a lot of money vs. buying at student bookstore. shipment came fast. book was absolutely 100% new-- still had clear covering on it. extremely pleased.
Good diagrams and software June 29, 2008 The software that comes with this book is actually useful, which veterans of college text books will find surprising. Also, the pictures and diagrams are very straightforward. The material is also covered at a good depth for undergraduates.
Neuroscience: 4th ed. March 11, 2008 It was good, but required for med school. So I don't know if any other text books would be better
Excellent text for medical school. January 8, 2008 This is a great text for medical school courses. I use this in conjunction with the Blumenfeld text, and between these two texts I feel I am well prepared for most of the questions on the exam. The figures are particularly helpful, seeing as many of the professors use them directly in their powerpoint presentations.
