Best resource for surgical students and residents February 19, 2006 Surgical knowledge is based on very simple and specific objectives. Indications for a surgery, work/up, tests, the procedure, and follow up. This book takes key concepts and explains these steps in detail, then gives a clear and easy-to-follow algorithm. It is perfect. In my clerkship, this book made getting pimped a piece of cake. Just follow the steps. My senior resident also studied from this book. A must have!
