3 out of 5 stars Peanut Not-so-crunchy   February 23, 2008
I was looking for a high protein, low sugar granola bar for between meals or traveling. Since my kids only like the crunchy granola bars, I thought they would love this. However, it's soft, not crunchy and has more sugar (14g) than I expected from a "healthy" brand.

5 out of 5 stars Great for Breakfast   November 13, 2007
These are yummy! A great breakfast bar that will take you easily through the morning. They have improved and are much more moist than previously.

4 out of 5 stars Good bars, watch ingredients & nutritional info   July 13, 2007

These are relatively tasty bars ... just about the best out there ... but watch the calories & ingredients.

The new formula for the PEANUT CRUNCH "softer bar" did change the nutritional information. I am a Weight Watcher lifetimer, and the bars went from 4 points each to 5 points each. Is that a big deal? Maybe not to you, but for me it is. Now, I am looking for an alternative to my daily snack of Odwalla, and I will not be purchasing more of these.

I disagree with others who say these bars are suitable as a meal replacement ... take a look at the ingredients ... lots of sugar in many Odwalla varieties (e.g., rice syrup is an alternative to corn syrup, the #2 ingredient in peanut crunch). The bars are a relatively healthy sweet treat and could be considered an alternative to a candy bar, not an alternative to a meal. In fact, the bars have about the same calories as a candy bar, and the nutritional values are not always better than a candy bar!

these are filling bars, great for a full day of errands, trying to eat lunch on the run.

5 out of 5 stars Wholesome and Satisfying   April 28, 2007

Odwalla bars are wholesome AND satisfying. Great as a meal replacement (my breakfast of choice most days) and great at powering you through hiking, workouts, and business trips. These are TASTY bars. The Peanut Crunch, Chocolate Chip Peanut and Berries Go Mega are my favorites, The new Banana Nut is a great alternative to a banana nut muffin!
