 No more night grinding July 16, 2008
My dentist has informed me that my teeth are no longer being worn down from my night grinding! I am happy to report that this comfortable mouth guard is the best on the market. You hardly know it is there.

I have used night guards of all types for many years. I have paid $500 for the custom fit plastic guards from dentists to $20 for "The Doctor's" boil-to-fit guards (which I could never find a size that quite fit right and several times ruined them in the process of boiling and fitting). All of them usually ended up somewhere besides my mouth within a few hours of going to sleep. Regardless of price, none of them lasted much longer than 1-2 months for me. And, with the boil-to-fit guards, they are such a hassle that I found myself going without.
I found this product on sale somewhere for $29 and figured it worth a try. I have been using for two months and have yet to wake up without it still in my mouth. It works great, fits comfortably and has held up reasonably well. Though, I am certain it won't make it the three months they guarantee it for so we'll see how many times they will replace it under warranty. Don't fault this product though - every dentist I've seen says I have the worst grinding problem they have seen. I usually crack their professional versions w/in a week.
This would get 5-stars except the price is 2x other over-the-counter offerings and the guaranteed durability for average users is only 3-months. If this was always $29 or closer to $20, definitely a 5-star product.
BTW - Target wants over $5 to ship this. That's nearly 15% of the cost of the product, then add sales tax. Really bad. I'd never recommend anyone buy somewhere off Amazon because of the trust factor, but either Amazon should start carrying this product or Target should get their shipping down.

This is the third time I've purchased this mouth guard. I grind my teeth at night and have tried many others, but none are as comfortable and easy as this one. My son now uses one too. I highly recommend trying it!

The mouth guard is good, easy to use right out of the box. Just popped it in, set the spacer for my mouth and presto. There is some discomfort, but this guard is better than anything I've found in store and is much cheaper than a $400 custom made from the dentist that breaks when dropped.
Target took 3 weeks to deliver this little package and it came in a box big enough to hold War and Peace.

This is the only non-prescription nightguard that has worked for me. In fact, it works better than the $500 nightguard that my dentist made for me. I've tried several other low-priced nightguards, and they were either uncomfortable or left me sore in the morning. This one is adjustable, and pliable, so there are no sharp edges and it fits my mouth exactly. And the price is right.
