effective, with a few issues... November 10, 2008
Much better than trying to ice a shoulder with individual ice bags - I wasted a lot of time trying that. This gets the ice where its needed and holds it there effectively. Issues - the body strap is a bit snug for a large person; I'm 2XL. It fits, but gets uncomfortable after awhile - not too bad for the time you'd normally wear it though. It's also a bit difficult to get on without help, but it can be done. The velcro is *really* good, so the toughest part is getting it not to stick in inappropriate places while you're trying to get it on. Despite all this, I wish I'd had it months ago.
