Not impressed. September 27, 2008 I received this tea box as a gift from a coworker. I'm a big tea drinker and I've tried many brands and varieties of tea. The tea tasted weak and stale to me. The wrappers are a thin paper, and that might be a contributing factor to the decline in taste. I tried every flavor once and now the box just sits in my cabinet. I feel that Bigelow's tea is far superior to Bentley's and would avoid drinking Bentley's in the future.
Ok, but it is just tea September 27, 2008 0 out of 1 found this comment useful.
Tea is not just flavored colored water. Now this is good Americanish tea but it really is not real tea.
Box is ok but still cheap when you handle it.
Box in bad condition September 27, 2008 Bought this for a gift - box (wood grain tea chest"?) arrived in poor condition. Other than that - nice assortment of teas.
Great little set of teas September 26, 2008 While I was not over-the-moon about the woodgrain box, I purchased this as gift to give tea, not the package. I must say that I found the woodgrain chest/packaging completely appropriate for gift-giving, but if you are looking for a fancy wood tea chest, you should consider purchasing a nice one separately.
This selection of teas offers a fairly nice variety. Mine all arrived very fresh with the chest sealed in plastic and the aroma of tea was evident before it was ever even opened. The tea was lightly flavorful and this is the way I like tea, so I'm very happy with my purchase and a gift that everyone can enjoy.
Nice tea assortment would make great gift September 24, 2008 I don't drink hot tea on a regular basis, but do enjoy it occasionally. This Bentley assortment looked like a good way to try some teas I have not had as well as including some of my favorites. Very nice presentation in the wooden box which would make a nice gift for tea lovers. When I opened the box, my wife and daughter both were quickly picking out what they wanted to try and noting the nice presentation. Judging from their responses either would have been please to receive this item as a gift although I'm sure that they will help me taste test the variety of teas.
