My daughter uses the name brand of this product, and I can't believe how much cheaper the generic is. Thanks!
Claritin at a fair price. August 2, 2008 3 out of 3 found this comment useful.
If you use this particular allergy medicine then you won't find a better deal. It works and it is more than fair considering the name brand Prices.
Great Price for Generic Claritin June 28, 2008 2 out of 2 found this comment useful.
Loratadine is an effective non drowsy long acting (once daily) antihistamine for both seasonal and year round allergies. We have used this Kirkland brand generic Loratadine which is as good as the more expensive Claritin at a can't beat it price of less than $2 per month (On 08-18-08 priced at about $18 with shipping for a ten month supply of 300 tablets). Loratadine takes a few days use to reach maximimum effectiveness and it is important to take it every day to maintain full effectiveness.
If you are having an acute allergic reaction or flare up Benadryl (diphenylhydramine) is a better choice for such uses as it is faster (though shorter) acting. Other quick acting but non drowsy antihistamines would also work in these cases.
For regular use this generic Loratadine is great stuff at a great price.

Loratadine tablets May 28, 2008 1 out of 1 found this comment useful.
I have used Loratadine tablets for several years to control seasonal allergies. For me they are effective. I take one tablet each day to maintain a low level of Loratadine in my system, and this seems to prevent pollen, etc. from upsetting me.

It is "high" pollen time with Indiana's blossoms at a zenith...this drug really helps curb the allergies that make spring an otherwise unwelcome event! We've recommended it to friends who are suffering.
