While it may not be 100% accurate in step counting (at times it seems to jump up a bit), this is the BEST pedometer I've purchased! The seven day memory is great for tracking progress and challenging yourself. The extra clip procetion strap is a life saver! Overall, this is the best one I've found for the price!

What's a better way to track how much calories one burns during their day while walking/jogging/running? I haven't tested the running fully, but to say the least it's accurate. Just clip it in the morning and go. A simple look could encourage you to walk that extra block to lunch or allow your heart to relax when you reached your goal.
A simple pedometer could change your life and even the cheaper ones work pretty darn well. This just has the extra features and I have yet to lose it. It's been a month or more and I lose things quite often.
Either slip it in the pocket or stash it in your purse if you hold onto it all day. No pockets? No worry, it can clip on your pants. I haven't accidentally dumped it into the washer yet, but learned my lesson when I almost did when I did the laundry.
I didn't see any aerobic steps unless I was jogging or running so I didn't really count those. The distance walk and calorie burned is an added bonus to some cheaper models. A mile is the minimum while I try to aim for 20 miles a week. The calories burned determine if I deserve a dessert or not. It's doesn't get easier than looking at numbers and knowing you can't change them to nourish your sweet tooth. It only made me work harder to get the steps needed for tomorrow night.

This product is wonderful! It performs exactly as promised and then some. I have accidentally thrown the pedometer, attatched to my clothing, into the washer, not once, not twice but three times! After the first time I thought I had surely ruined it. I decided to remove the battery, shake the water out, dry both pieces as thouroughly as I could, then let the pedometer with battery out sit for a few days. Once the batterey was reinserted it worked perfectly again. This worked each time. Enjoy this pedometer but please remember to remove it from your clothing!

My friends all look at this one & ask me where I got it. I like it that I can put it in a waistpack & still get accurate readings. It's been dropped on the floor a few times I confess, but no harm done. Had this one now for over 2 years without problems.
Watch out for battery prices-shop around on Amazon. Radioshack (AK) charges too much, one vendor on Amazon put this 1.5 inch flat product in a 1.5 foot by 2 foot box-unconscionable-plus they charged too much. Batteries are an issue as this never turns off-so find a good source. I still cannot figure out how to get the Aerobic meter going-maybe I only think I am alive. Curiously, working on an Elliptical does not register at all-need feet planted on floor!

I am happy with this product. It resets itself at midnite. That's nice. I thought I was getting the one that plugs into the puter, but didn't. It is easy enough to make a spread sheet tho!
