5 out of 5 stars One of the best   August 13, 2006

I had purchased one of these about a year ago, but I lost it while traveling in Europe. I have tried about five or six different types of pedometers and have found this one to meet all of my needs. The weakest part of the different ones I have tried seem to be the belt ciip. A word of advice, connect your tether to ensure you do not lose it if you drop it.

5 out of 5 stars good deal!   August 13, 2006

I have been very pleased with this pedometer so far. It seems accurate and stays in place well. If it falls, it has a tether to catch it. Definitely worth the money.

The best pedometer I have ever owned. The accuracy is great and the many different modes make it very unique!

4 out of 5 stars Easy to set   August 12, 2006

I like this pedometer very much. I have bought others that were hard to set. This one is very easy, and even has a clock.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent pedometer   August 11, 2006

I tried several other pedometers and found them to be very inaccurate on the high side - registering steps when I sat down, or was on a bouncy road sitting in the car. One even registered 10 steps just getting it clipped to my belt!

The Omron 112, however, is very accurate and I am really happy with it. It can even tell the difference between regular (around the office) walking and aerobic walking (it records a total of all steps and a separate aerobic total.) I found it quite easy to set up.
