I think the most recomendable thing is "save personal data". Data can be saved on home computer using usb port. It's very helpful to appreciate patient's data during long period. That's great!

Great product. Functions exactly as described. Be aware that as of September 2007, the Omron Health Management software is not qualified for Windows Vista and documentation indicates it will only run on Windows 2000 and XP. Omron told me they do not have a plan for qualifying it on Vista at this time. However, I tried installing it on Vista, skipping the installation of .Net Framework Version 1.0 (because Vista's .Net version at this time is 3.0). The installation proceeded without event and the software worked fine. Omron has a software update/documentation web presence where I assume a Vista-qualified version of software will be available when released.

The automatic blood pressure monitor works OK. The cuff is hard to adjust so it inflates properly; I think it has to do with the positioning of the Velcro strip.Omron HEM-790IT Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor with Advanced Omron Health Management Software

The Omron HEM790IT is great. Inflates/deflates quickly & automatically, takes the readings and uploads the data to my computer adding the time/date. I then email this to the doctor. I can see daily/weekly/monthly graphs and especially note higher morning BP dangers.

i brought this product since i needed to check BP for my father . the 2 -3 times that we got it calibrated the Upper BP (Diastolic) was off by 5 points or so and the Lower BP(Systolic) was off my 15-20 points . i like the feature that you can download the reading and view graphically and also get a PDF file and send it to the doctor.
so i guess it is OK .
