I purchased this unit since it had a large cuff and appeared fairly easy to put on. While the cuff is large enough for me and my husband, we get more error messages than actual readings. We can only get the cuff to fit properly on the left arm if the other person does it, and even then we're still getting close to 90% error messages. It is easier to put on the right arm for some unknown reason, but that arm still gets more errors than readings and most doctors prefer readings from the left.
I don't know how much of the problem is with the unit, and how much of it has to do with the shape of overweight arms (wider at the top of the cuff and narrow at the bottom of the cuff, which makes it hard to get it situated *just right*). So, if you have larger arms, or flabby arms, this may not be the unit for you.

My last blood pressure machine lasted 25 years. I tried a few others the last few years, but returned them. This Omron HEM-719IT with computer software and usb cable included is better than my old one. I used to write in red ink on small pieces of paper what my readings were, and would enter them in the computer to take to my doctor's office. I have my machine for a month and took it to my doctor to verify it's accuracy. The nurse's reading was a little less on the bottom number, but close enough for me and my doctor. I did not install the software until this morning, and it was very easy. No more trying to read my writing!! I am very happy with this machine. It has a 5 year warranty, but I'm hoping if I take care of it like I did my old one, it may last much longer.

I kept telling my doctor that the only time I showed really high readings were in his office and he was not convinced. He asked me to buy this specific machine. The download program made it that much easier to show the true record of BPs over a period of two weeks. It is no the most intuitive of downloads but I'm comfortable enough with computers. It worked and now my doctor believes me! Thank you.

Easy to use monitor. Great features, i.e. large cuff, two person monitoring, irregular heartbeat detection. Have not used software yet. Extremely happy with this purchase.

It is a nice product. Though, I have not tested it rigrously, it seems to be gr8 .I'll be sending it to my parent for use. The best thing is connectivity with computer as you can store much more information records.
I would suggest you guys to go for it !! A worthy purchase
