I bought this product from another retailer, not Amazon. I used it religiously for 3 months. At first, I did have the oily discharge and more frequent bowel movements as I use to when I was prescribed Orlistat along with phentermine from my weight loss doctor.I lost 12 lbs the first month. However, after the first bottle, I no longer got the oily discharge nor did I lose a single pound, in fact the last month I used Alli I gained back 6 lbs. However, like one user stated, I became suspicious because of the results I was getting.I opened a couple of capsules that seemed lighter than others and found they were empty. I thought perhaps they somehow spilled into the bottom of the bottle, but there was no residue in the bottle. I took the last bottle of Alli back to the retailer and showed them the empty capsules and got my money back. Beware that this product may contain a few empty capsules and, as far as Im concerned,may contain powder that may not be the real Orlistat or may not be a full 60mg. This is my opinion, not fact, because I cannot analize the contents.If my guess is right, someone may be mimicking this product and packaging it as the real product, or the manufacturer of this product is not keeping quality control on how much product each capsule contains.I can tell you that I got a bottle that contained a few empty capsules and did not work like the first bottle I purchased. Unless you had a chemical analysis of the content of the other capsules how would you know what they actually contain or how much they actually contain if the powder is real?Is it a full 60mg capsule?I'm giving it 3 stars only because it actually worked for me the first month I used it.

When you have decided to take matters into your own hands, try Alli. By following the guidelines of this "change of lifestyle" your won't be worried about the scare tactics of treatment affects. Alli makes sure you understand the product and what it has to offer. I have followed the plan and limited my fat and calorie intake and have lost 27 pounds in 4 1/2 months! It has been simple (nothing is easy) and I will continue to use Alli until I have lost all the weight I need to loose. I've been taking Alli for 4 months. I lost 18 lbs and have no problems with taking Alli. Of course I now walk 2.5 miles daily and for the most part follow a low fat diet. But I do cheat now and then and even eat pizza. Still I have no problem with Alli. I recommend this product.

i work with people that lost alot of weight using this product,but 4 me i dont think it did much.i might have lost a pound or 2 d but im in the gym 6 days a week anyway, i wasnt impressed

It is a good product IF you follow the rules exactly. No more than 15 grams of fat at each of 3 meals. The Alli will absorb about 1/2 of the 15 grams. Make a couple snacks fat free and you can easiily eat 5 times a day. However, if you go off Alli, you will probably gain a little back.
If you stick to the 15 grams per meal (you were only getting 7.5 with the Alli), then you are eating twice the fat you were before, so you will gain. If you go off it for a binge, boy will you gain it FAST!!! I think once I finish my bottle, I'll save myself a ton of money and just do my diet the right way. Senisble eating and exercise. Yes, it may be slower, but I stand a better chance of keeping the weight off and I'll save a bunch money towards the gas tank and healthier food.
