5 out of 5 stars Philips Sonicare FlexCare Rechargeable Sonic Toothbrush with Sanitizer   December 23, 2008
This is the best Sonicare toothbrush yet. It has 3 settings. The default is like last years model in that it brushes for 2 minutes, broken up into 15 second intervals for top front, back, and bottom front and back. However this model has a max clean that adds 15 seconds to each interval with a more intense vibration. It also has a 1 minute cycle that uses the intense vibration for a quick brush. The bristles seem to be more stiff and really gives you the "just got my teeth cleaned at the dentist" feeling every time you brush. The UV clean kills any residue germs that might be left on the bristles. Overall a real professional toothbrush that makes your mouth feel extremely clean just like you came from the dentist.

5 out of 5 stars awesome--you'll love this purchase   December 21, 2008
I am so happy I splurged on this purchase--I replaced an older sonicare toothbrush I had, and the technolgy of the FlexCare has been much improved. My teeth feel smooth and clean just like after a dental visit & are noticably whiter. My teeth even feel cleaner all day long. Treat yourself--and SMILE!

3 out of 5 stars Lack of Torque   December 20, 2008

The new flexcare is smaller and lighter, but the vibrator mechanism is build-in the handle and doesn't provide as much torque as the older model like the Advance. I have them both, turn them on and press the heads lightly on my skin, the Advance seems to provide as much as 40% more torques than the Flexcare. It is important because lack of torque will prevent Flexcare owners using heavy toothpaste such as Colgate Total, also, its bristles are not of same high quality like the Advance's

Few positive improvements of Flexcare compared to the older model:

* New design prevents saliva and water to form behind the base that
required weekly clean up

* Lithium battery can be replaced if worn out.

* Light weight, easier to held thus more useful

* Smaller head makes cleaning in tight spot easier.

5 out of 5 stars Best toothbrush man has made   December 20, 2008
Ok, so let me start by saying I hate brushing my teeth. It was a chore which took time but I did it because I HAVE to (no one wants stinky breath). I've heard so much about different mechanical toothbrushes and I first bought the Oral B version because it was cheaper and I really didn't feel like it was doing much. After brushing with Oral B I'd pass my tongue over my teeth and still feel some "grit". I then bought this Sonic set and let me tell you how much I ENJOY and look forward to brushing everyday (several time a day now). I travel a lot and I love how I can take the toothbrush with the included travel charger and throw it in my bag knowing I will still get the Sonic clean feeling while I'm away from home and don't have to use the crappy manual stuff. Not to mention how I feel "healthier" with the attached sanitizer. I don't know if it truly works or no, but it does make me "feel" like it's a clean toothbrush head during every brush. I can not even imagine going back to manual brushing thank to this great invention!

5 out of 5 stars Great toothbrush.   December 16, 2008
This toothbrush does a fantastic job. Between this toothbrush and flossing every other day my trips to the dentist are quick and easy. It's also nearly impossible to over brush at the gum line with this toothbrush.
