1 out of 5 stars Poor Design   October 21, 2008
I have heard many great things about these diapers. I love the idea of them being better for the environment and better for my baby. However, they aren't designed well at all. The are cut like a square, which means they are wide and short. When we first brought our daughter home from the hospital we had to go buy pampers because these were too wide for her. Then, when they fit better they are now way short, I had to cut the tabs in half just so they wouldn't cut the circulation off in her legs. I hope that the other sizes might fit better otherwise I will likely go back to Pampers.

1 out of 5 stars REALLY Disappointed!   September 19, 2008
Seventh Generation Newborn Diapers, (Up To10 Lbs), 40-Count Packages (160 Diapers) (Pack of 4)

I purchased the Newborn size of the Seventh Generation diapers because I have used the 2 to 4 sizes with great success with my first little boy. However the Newborn size were a great disappointment not to mention a waste of money. First of all they are shaped like a square and don't fit the human baby at all. When I brought my son home at 7 pounds they were too big and now at 9 pounds they are too small. They leaked constantly and are very rough to the touch. I really wanted to love these like I love the larger sizes, but these need a LOT of improvement!! Not worth the money. As much as I hated to because I really feel strongly about using a more "green" diaper, I am using Huggies newborn with much less leaking and a better fit. Until my son reaches the size 2 diapers I will be searching out other alternatives.

2 out of 5 stars Fit issues   September 19, 2008
The newborn diapers need elastic in the waist and stretchy tabs like in their larger sizes. We had a lot of problems with leaks with the newborn size, but really like the size 1 Seventh Generation diapers. The size 1s are pretty big for a newborn, but don't leak like the newborn sized diapers do.

4 out of 5 stars Simple Diapers   August 25, 2008
When my baby was a newborn the diapers would leak sometimes. Now that she has filled out and is moving around, they never leak even after a long nights sleep. I like that fact that the diapers have no pictures or dyes on them (they are a tan color) and that they don't smell like plastic. My baby only had a diaper rash once when I used non-seventh generation wipes.

4 out of 5 stars Works well   August 21, 2008
The newborn diapers leaked a few times, but when we used the pampers from the hospital there were no leaks, so I think there is a fit issue with the 7th Gens. However, now we are on size 1 and no leaks so far. I like that it's unbleached, but wish the material is a little softer (it bothers me more than it bothers my baby though).
