4 out of 5 stars Handy Little Item   December 1, 2001

This is a helpful product for not a lot of money. Except for the toothbrush, which is useless, we've got a lot of use out of it. The hairbrush is great as are the clippers and mini-emery boards. It's also a good size to throw in the diaper bag.

I agree with the other reviews. The hairbrush is great, and the set would be perfect without the toothbrush. I especially like the mini emery boards. They are easy to use on my baby.

3 out of 5 stars Buy The "Generic" Brand   September 27, 2001

First of all, I think having the toothbrush as a part of this set is very unsanitary. By the time your baby is old enough to use it, the toothbrush will probably be full of bacteria and germs considering you've kept it in there along with the brush and comb that you use on a daily basis. If you insist on purchasing this set, buy the generic brand "Especially For Baby." It is cheaper and the colors are nicer. You might also want to reconsider if you are planning to buy the other matching set - Hospital's Choice Deluxe Care Kit. It already contains a nail clipper and scissors - do you really need 2 of those?

I use the brush often. When my baby had the cradle cap I would brush his hair with mineral oil to loosen it before shampooing. And you can't be without the nail clipper my baby's nail grow so fast...

4 out of 5 stars Lose the toothbrush and you're perfect   May 23, 2001

Great product, love the idea that I have everything in one place. Only thing I thought could go was the toothbrush do not find a toothbrush as a necessary item in a baby grooming kit. Also since you replace toothbrushes every 3-6 months soon the set will be incomplete.
