Nice, but a little big November 19, 2008 The only issue I see with this toy is that my 6 month old constantly wants to stick it in his mouth and since it's so big, he can't do that and loses interest quickly. It's definitely easy for him to grab and captures his interest when he sees it.
Great toy October 22, 2008 After seeing this toy in a store and commenting how my daughter would probably love it (she was, and still is, highly into rattles and anything that's easy to grasp), my in-laws purchased this as a gift. She was 6 months then, and now she'll be a year next week and it's still one of her favorite toys. She has another like this that has a duck in the middle and, despite her love of all things ducky, she completely ignores it in favor of this one.
It's very durable, easy for little hands to grasp, and it seems to feel good on her gums as she likes to chew on it. This toy is one of a select few that are on our "must-take-along" list for daily outings.
My son's favorite toy September 29, 2008 This Winkle was my son's favorite toy during his first year. From the time he was able hold something he always chose this. It was great for teething and kept his interest. He loved it so much that I had to buy one for my Mother's house as well. This has become my go-to baby gift.
great toy March 23, 2008 I bought this toy for my daughter when she was 6 weeks old and LOVES it! Now that she is 3 months she is chewing on it and swinging it around. Like others have said, has a lot of "holds" for little hands!
my nephew has a love/hate relationship with this toy! February 26, 2008 I bought this toy for my nephew, he's 4 months old now, and he loves this toy but often gets frustrated with it. It's been a great tool for teaching him how to grab and hold on to things. He really lights up when he sees the toy, but after gumming it for a while he gets frustrated that he cannot get to the rattle in the middle. It's comical for us to watch because he seems to growl at the toy and then throws it on the ground. I think he will grow into the toy more as he gets older. It will also be nice when he teethes, you can put it in the fridge for teething.
