 Simple, easy, reliable August 5, 2008
Just put it on the front-head and you can already see the temperature. You have the results in a couple of seconds. Less intrusive. No need for batteries, no electronic sensor that can go wrong like in ALL the electronic thermometers we had.
This is the perfect product for us.

I thought I would try because of the price, but it wasn't worth it. It doesn't give accurate readings and the ranges are very broad. I am a first time parent and wouldn't recommend this at all.

Someone gave me a pack and I will definitely buy more. We have all kinds of thermometers but my 1 yr old son won't let me use any of them on him. The forehead strips are quick and easy. I particularly like the one with the sticky backing... although its meant for long period use to monitor the temperature over time - I find its easiest to stick it on his forehead and get a reading with little fuss. When I try to use the longer strip (no sticky backing) he won't let me hold it on there. If I could get a pack full of sticky backing ones, I would. I end up using the non-sticky backing one on his 7yr old brother.
I highly recommend this product. Its quick, its convenient, its practical, it fits in your pocket...I could go on.

I HAVEN'T USED IT THAT OFTEN BUT IT IS A GOOD CONCEPT. I LIKE THE STRIP YOU CAN STICK ON THEIR FOREHEAD OVERNIGHT TO MONITOR. I HAVE A FOREHEAD SCAN THERMOMETER AND I USE THAT MORE.
Great for newborns January 25, 2004
With newborn baby's tiny ears, sometimes an ear thermometer just can't do the job. You just put one of these on Baby's forehead and it'll read the temp so you don't have to deal with getting the ear thermometer, probe covers, or having to deal with holding Baby's arm down with the under arm thermometer. They are especially great in the middle of the night.
