5 out of 5 stars Changed My Life!   October 5, 2007
6 out of 6 found this comment useful.

Literally, changed my quality of life. I never had heartburn until I gave birth. I first used Pepcid (which worked for awhile) but was up to 2 extra strength a day. I finally got an upper GI and found out I had Level 2 reflux. They put me on this and immediately I was 'cured'. I was no longer waking up at night, didn't have to sleep with an elevated head and could eat later if I wanted to. I wish I had found this years ago. I've recommended it to other people I know and they thank me. It really not only helps the immediate effects of reflux, it will in time, repair the damage.

5 out of 5 stars Works as well as the expencive prescriptions   September 8, 2007

Many people have something called a Hiatal hernia and don't even know it.
A type of hernia where the stomach pushes up through a hole in the diaphragm
muscle preventing it from closing causing acid to reflux. It takes an upper
endoscopy to confirm it.
This works just like the rest of the prescription medications by reducing
the acid.
I have been taking it for 2 years (I have a Hiatal hernia). I can eat
anything I want without problem. The only possible side effect is a
cardboard taste in my mouth at times (not even sure its related to the
Prilosec)

5 out of 5 stars I do not understand this queation. The product in reference is Prilosec OTC - My title is American Male Citizen   August 24, 2007

I first started using this product a few months ago and I am very impressed with the results. It has completely realigned my digestive system and I am felling too good now - I say too good becaause it is easy to forget my medication because I no longer have the upper GI pain but when I fail to remember my medication, I am soon to feel the memory laps.

5 out of 5 stars Relief from a unusual problem   August 6, 2007

As it turns out, I have acid reflux as a problem. The symptoms though are unlike any I have ever seen. Basically, if I do not take this medication, I lose the ability to swallow on certain foods and some liquids. The food would get stuck and the only relief was for it to come back out. I went to 2 specialists in the gastro field and neither of them have seen this before. Fortunately the last one was able to prescribe this product and I have been fine since. This medication is a life saver....

5 out of 5 stars Heartburn gone   July 29, 2007
After starting on Prilosec, my near daily heartburn is gone. I would recommend this to anyone.
