I think peppermint (whether in the form of these pills, or brewed tea) and fiber taken before meals has helped relieve my IBS symptoms, my problem is primarily bloating. I prefer the tea when it's an option, but it often isn't, so these pills are great.

1 out of 5 stars Not for me!   June 30, 2008
I can't see how this product is enteric coated because if that were the case, the pill wouldn't open up until
it reached the lower part of the digestive system and it seems to start working in the upper digestive
system way too quickly. It gave me reflux.

I would have to say to be really careful if you have reflux and generally I don't, but I was feeling a burning sensation in my chest after one pill.

It also doesn't make a lot of sense to be taking this on an empty stomach. I would think if I had taken it
in the middle of a meal, it might have gone down with my food and arrived at it's destination as it should.
Trouble was I was scared to take another pill because of the burning in my chest. It took hours to go away
and made me wonder what Heather was thinking in the design of this product!

5 out of 5 stars Yes, they do help.   April 22, 2008

At first, I found that I got a little reflux, but I've got used to them now and they do help. I have tried all sorts of things over the years and these help with the gas and bloating better than anything else.
