Great item!!!
Now I'm able to put my contact lenses very fast and without hurting my eyes. And removing them is even easier.
I was going to quit wearing contact lenses. sometimes I spend 1/2 hour trying to get one contact in with my fingers. now I'm able to do it in the 1st or 2nd try.
Excellent product, I would recommend it to everyone.

I may be slow at times but I thought you removed your lens using the same end that you use to insert lens. I thought there was some kind of suction effect that I just couldn't work out. I went to the DMV website and saw the OTHER end had the gripper pads for removing the lens. Now I think this is a great little tool!

Caveat: I haven't tried this yet.
I've had problems with taking out my contacts and I thought that this seemed like an innovative tool to help. The picture shown is of a woman putting the contact *in* her eye, not taking it out. I (probably foolishly) got my hopes up that the "patented gripper pads" meant that no pinching motion was needed when trying to take the contact off my eyeball.
We'll see what happens when I try it with my contacts.

I bought this based on the reviews here. This is much easier and gentler
than using my hands to remove my soft contacts. I also like it for inserting my contacts because I don't have to worry about lint (from
towel drying after washing hands).

I recently started wearing contact lenses and I could insert them with a limited degree of success and removal was very difficult with my long fingernails. I scratched my eyes several times. I was about to give up on contacts all together until I found this product. It took me a few times to learn how to insert the lens, but I was able to remove the lens easily the first time I tried. I could not imagine ever using my fingers to insert or remove my contacts ever again. I highly recommend this product.
