 convenient thermometer June 4, 2008
This thermometer beeps when finished calculating my temperature in the morning, which is really nice when I'm not quite ready to get up yet. I can lay with my eyes closed and wait for the beep. The only downside is that it takes longer than 1 minute to read the temperature, so I wish it worked a little faster.

I was impressed with how fast the thermometer got to me! That was exciting! I also really lke the size of the thermometer. It is not huge and it has a nice case to protect it. I think that it has been pretty accurate for me so far, but I have only had it for a month. THe other thing I really like abouit it is that it stires temperatures so it I forget what my temperature was that morning all I have to do is look at the thermometer and it will tell me!
 Memory is inconsistant April 12, 2008
The memory feature is less to be desired. It more often sets back to the default temperature when holding the ON button. It is a pain to have to get out of bed and walk across the room to turn on the light to read it and record it right away. I bought it because of the memory feature and am displeased with the lack there of. Now I just keep a flashlight next to the bed so I can record it right away. I wouldn't recommend this one if you are counting on the memory to be correct last temp taken.

This thermometer is very acurate and reliable. I am tracking my BBT for fertility reasons, and I love that I can roll over in bed, take my temperature, and I have ten minutes before I actually have to get out of bed to record the reading.

Not top-of-the-line, but this works very well for me, and for a very reasonable price.
+it is inexpensive
+it is accurate
+beeps when finished
+beeps when turned off
+has recall of last temp
-no backlight [but not claimed to have one, and frankly, I don't test until sunlight's filtering in or husband is up in the other room with light coming down hallway, so the point is moot for me]
-takes 2-3min for temps sometimes [again, not a big deal for me]
For the price, this was worth it for me. It's a great, inexpensive way to chart and, in my case, practice FAM to avoid pregnancy -- and eventually have great records of my cycles for when I do want to conceive.
Company ships quickly and in good, protective packaging, too.
