 Great for vegans and vegetarians December 21, 2008
This stuffing is great for my boyfriend and I who are vegetarians! We make it with vegetable broth instead of chicken broth. Stovetop has "Cooked Chicken and Chicken Broth" in it, and a lot of store brands have chicken fat or broth in it. This also has no milk ingredients in it so it's perfect for vegans too =)
We usually only make half a bag at a time and never have problems with dryness, but when we make a whole bag sometimes some bits are dry. I think it's because our skillet isn't large enough to have one layer of stuffing, so some bits don't absorb as much broth if we don't mix it quickly enough.
 Not close to Stove Top in taste June 16, 2008
Product is very dry if prepared as directed. Need almost twice the amount of chicken broth to get it moist. Stove Top is much better tasting and uses water, not chicken broth.

Enjoyed the taste and had never tried it before. Usually I find ready made stuffings to be to spiced but this was fine when fresh onion and celery was added for texture and freshness. Good

If you haven't tried this stuffing, be SURE you do! Mother has used it her entire life and now, I'm using it. It's great on salads but during the holidays, there's really nothing better! I just cannot explain how they infuse all the seasonings, but it's just incredible. Stuffing is just Kellogg's nothing else in our house. Plus, if you use it in another recipe, you don't have to worry about a high salt content ruining the dish. It's just not salty like Stovetop. Highly, Highly recommend!

This IS the best stuffing!! It's a long-time family tradition for us and we panicked when we could no longer find it in the local stores. I stock up to be sure that I have enough and was so happy to find it at Amazon.com.
