great jerky July 18, 2008 this is one of the best jerky's i've found in a while. I like the regular flavor a little better than the teriyaki, though
I Love Teriyaki May 13, 2008 But this doesn't taste like teriyaki... It has a strange flavor to it that made we want to share it with all my friends so I didn't have to eat the 1 pound bag. Try their original or peppered, those are the best!
Protein to go April 28, 2008 My husband loves the taste of this jerky, and it is convenient for him. He is a diabetic with a job that often keeps him late. The jerky provides protein for him and helps keep his insulin level stable. I love the price!
Excellent Beef Jerky!!! April 20, 2008 World kitchens make the BEST beef jerky you can get. Beats the competition by miles. My biggest problem is everyone that comes over takes my extra packages! On the flip side - the pepperoni is just OK certainly better the a Slim Jim or the cheapo stuff at the 7-11 checkout- a great deal but not the biggest hit in the house (except for my Rottie who will do anything to get a piece! lol
Improved since original reviews? March 26, 2008 Bought a bag of this at a major retailer that comes to mind when you think of "W". Cheaper than Amazon has it for sale. Some pieces are a little tougher than others. I did not notice any graininess at all. I do wish it had fewer carbs as that is why I'm eating beef jerky to begin with.
I could not make jerky myself at this price. Especially if you consider the time it takes to buy, cut, prepare, clean up of prep area, cookie sheets and finally drying the jerky. Not to mention $$ spent for the electricity/gas needed to dry it plus the spices and sauces needed.
I'm so used to seeing 6 to 8 oz packages of jerky for sale at this price. A pound for under a sawbuck. Can't beat it.
