do we need the Z? July 22, 2008 I was happy to finally have my favorite Taco Bell flavors here in my home, ready to microwave when I'm up at 3a.m. watching Million Dollar Duck, but I don't know if I appreciate the deliberate misspelling of "bowls" Who is the spell checker at Taco bell, Prince? Was it 2 hard 4 you to spell this correctly? This isn't 1990, Taco Bell. I get it- Sante fe bowls are hip, they're happening, and they are indeed hot literally and figuratively. I will not be talked down to by your product, though. I'm a grown-up with grown-up tastes, and I'll never have the taste for a mess of "bowlz". Fix this!
Great to store at work May 31, 2008 I keep these in my desk at work so that I have lunch whenever needed. They don't taste too bad and have a good protein to fat content ratio. Definitely would recommend since Amazon has the cheapest price when you subscribe.
Good Till It Had Worms April 28, 2008 0 out of 1 found this comment useful.
I absolutely loved these meals. They actually filled me up at lunch. Until I got a bad batch of the product. I recently opened one up for lunch to find little worms crawling in and out of the food. I would be careful before eating one of these again. They were about a 1/4 inch long and green.
Just passable... April 24, 2008 2 out of 2 found this comment useful.
The other reviewers were right on when they said this was not spicy/flavorful enough. I added some Crystal Hot Sauce and some four-blend-mexican cheese and in about 2 min I had a decent snack and I emphasize snack. The portions are very small to say the least ( "thanks" big brother) . Locally you can find these for about .50 cheaper at the supermarket but then you have gas, traffic, stress etc... so I guess it all evens out in the end. In conclusion, if you like Mexican and need a nice change of pace and want something that doesnt have to be refrigerated and you have some bread and hot sauce to boot then I say go for it. You could do a lot worse.
Not bad at all December 25, 2007 These taste okay though they really need some added sauce and for sure, some chips (which I keep forgetting to pick up). Then I think they'd taste like it came from one of their restaurants. Fast to fix which is a plus.
