This little wonder is a book that I would never, ever give up. It is a necessity for any medical student, resident, or physician. It would probably be a good reference for any physican assistant, nurse, or pharmacist, too. The editors at medicalstudent.net give it 5 stars!

Where would I be without my pocket pharmacopoeia? I literally carry this book in my back pocket everyday. For the busy practitioner on the run, this book will help you from making prescribing errors. I find it accurate, packed with dozens of useful tables and it's easy to use. For such a small book it packs a big punch. Besides the hundreds of dosing guidelines it has info on metabolism & excretion, pregnancy categories and safety in lactation. It's updated yearly (which is good since mine is usually worn out by the end of the year) and it's inexpensive. There are lots of useful "pearls" hidden in this book. The best thing about this book? You'll use it daily in your practice!
