5 out of 5 stars It's very useful and efficient for pharmacist who work in hospital   September 13, 2008
it's very useful and efficient for the hospital pharmacist, actually I am.
The book size is so small even sometimes hard to noticeable in your pocket.
The dosage and indication is well defined.
But if you are a bad eye-sight, you should select more bigger size.
it's really small.
Anyway, I'll recommend it to pharmacist if you are a vigorous person.

3 out of 5 stars Not useful   September 5, 2008

I read all the reviews. Figured small print was okay to deal with. Not so. Not only is it charts and graphs in the whole book, it is miniscule print. It's not a couple charts here and there, it is the WHOLE book, kind of like when you see fine print at the bottom of a contract. Information itself is good after the 20mins it takes to find it. Using it was so tedious it would stress me out trying to look stuff up. Waste of money, invest the cash in a better book.

4 out of 5 stars must be in your pocket for inpatient/outpatient care!   August 21, 2008

We all need this pocket book to stay current on Abx. Rx and Tx.--period. Dosing, too, and specific infective regimens are also noted. My only complaint is that sometimes it is confusing and tedious to FIND what you need. An updated charting system, and easier to find categories would be nice in the next edition.

5 out of 5 stars best pocketbook for clinicians   May 25, 2008
for medical doctors who work in a busy health unit and need at any time a handy book to review antibiotics, bugs and side effects.
very-very helpfull for clinicians with a subspesialty (rheumatology, nephrology, hematology etc) who need fast to have access on information such as the appropriate antibiotic and the first in line medication.

2 out of 5 stars Not convenient to use   May 21, 2008

The book had all the information I wanted but the print was totally unreadable due to size...I opted for the more expensive spiral bound version.
