4 out of 5 stars Great book Easy to understand   November 26, 2008
This is a great book and its very easy to read and understand. It just gives the basics though, I am a nursing student and it helps with getting the overall basics of it all but you still have to do other research and readings because it doesn't go into great depth.

5 out of 5 stars Very helpful!   November 9, 2008
I'm in RN program and this book is very helpful putting things on a level that's much easier to understand than my basic nursing text. This helps me sort things out and then be able to put them all together where they make sense...

4 out of 5 stars Good basic review   March 10, 2008

If you're trying to "get your feet wet" and your pathyo text is dry and boring, read this first and help yourself out! It summarizes key points into lists and not so much narrative, which we nursing students do NOT have time to read. It's a great bargain, too, considering the price of nursing texts. Buy it!

3 out of 5 stars Better out there   February 21, 2008

I really found the calculations book wonderful. But, I was looking for something to supplement even simplify the patho. I own Lewis and that is really in depth. But, this doesn't have everything I want. It is basic! The world of nursing is not basic.

I bought this book because I was failing pathophysiology, hoping that it could help me turn my grade around, because I am a visual learner. It was hard to use this book because it is not grouped the same way that my class was, and the subjects presented (and their emphasis) was also much different than my class. It would be okay for a general overview of patho, but not the way I used it. I did end up pulling a B, but it was from the instructor's diligent help and my classmates explaining the concepts.
