Excellent book December 15, 2008 This is an excellent book. It show how American health costs are so out of site, and why. The best part is actually in the back where the author lists, by chapter, his sources of information, which can dispel any negative remarks ANYBODY could have. Copies should be sent to the White House (Obamas')

The Food and Drug Administration was originally created to protect the citizens of the United States. It has now morphed into a marketing arm of the pharmaceutical industry. Byron Richards is a respected health professional and he does an outstanding job of exposing the sham that is the FDA & Big Pharma. From pharma's beginnings in Nazi Germany through their takeover of the FDA through political cronyism & corporate favors, this would be a great novel, but sadly it is true. Our health care (sick care) system is by far the largest, most expensive on the planet, yet Americans are far from the healthiest. Find out how pharma and the FDA are playing a huge role in our sickness epidemic, and how you can take charge of your health through natural methods.

This is an absolute must read for anyone who is interested in staying well, away from drugs, chemicals, etc. This was a real eye opener as to what the FDA is trying to do, or permit to be done, to our food, vitamin and drug supply in the U.S. Byron Richards is a Board Certified Clinical Nutritionist and his research on this book was exhausting I'm sure. We are headed in the wrong direction in this country, and this book will certainly open up some new thinking regarding our health.

A real shocker and eye opener for those who rely on the government to help them.

If you would like to be more informed about today, and learn how you can help change it you must read this book. To be honest the book actually made me sick to my stomach. The thought of really having no control in a democracy really scares me. They lead us to think that we are in conrtol, we are not. Big pharma controls everything. The first part in the book about the Doctors I did skip and went back to it in the end. I wanted to just get into it. If you start reading that first you will get bored. The book is deep, and at some parts it was almost like I was supposed to already know something about that subject, and then the book told me more. You definately get the big picture though. We are honestly just peons... we will do what ever the Goverment wants us to do or believe. Very scary.
