Very Informative June 7, 2006 12 out of 14 found this comment useful.
As a personal trainer, I am often faced with clients who have just finished rehabilitation in some form or another. This book allows me to understand the possible causes and implications of their concern being addressed. This is an excellent source describing the progressions and stages of rehabilitation. Detailed information and illustrations are included to cover post-operative, clinition (or machine) assisted motion, self induced motion, and maintenance.

This book was exactly what I was looking for and came to me in great condition. The arrival date was earlier than expected, which is always a plus!
This is a good foundation book November 12, 2001 14 out of 18 found this comment useful.
This is a good book for beginning students of therapeutic exercise and mobilization techniques. It gives the basic foundation of the treatments and the sound reasoning behind it. It is a good book to have for P.T. and A.T.C. students just starting out in their career and a good reference book once out in the working field.
Good reference book October 29, 2000 27 out of 31 found this comment useful.
I got this book years ago in an earlier edition in Physical therapy school. I found it very helpful since it is full of ideas for treatment and exercises for some different diagnoses. Of course, I used it a lot in school in a few courses, it was invaluable in the clinic when I was doing a lot of outpatient orthopaedic patients. Since I am now doing inpatient acute patients I have rarely used this book, but I still have it as a reference because you never know when it may be useful to brush up on. I recommend that you get this book if you are in school or think that clinical ortho patients are your niche.
