5 out of 5 stars Excellent resource   September 30, 2000

This is an excellent manual, covering many essential topics in a well-organized style. Techniques are clearly explained and often are accompanied by a diagram. The large, sturdy spiral makes the book easy to use. Although the pages are a little thin and may leak through with an ordinary highlighter, they are certainly thick enough to easily be underlined with a colored pen or pencil. This book has become my essential, often-consulted reference for therapeutic exercise techniques.

4 out of 5 stars good information, dry presentation   May 5, 2000

This book is full of information, although the pages are so paper thin, forget about highlighting anything! I found the way the information is presented on the dry side. Facts are listed in an a,b,c, etc. format. By the time I get to h or I, I already forgot what they were trying to explain.

Very comprehensive, happy that this edition is light in weight but heavy on good information. Nearly 800 pages in length.

The 3rd ed. is a poor quality text. It is bound as a spiral and is printed on thin (practically transparent), low quality paper.
