Tip-Top November 14, 2007 5 out of 5 found this comment useful.
This was a text in my master's program, I now work developing education programs for personal trainers and use Neumann's book as a prime reference. The author does an excellent job of describing how muscles function in vertical, upright movements as opposed to how they are often described from a horizontal, supine position on a table. This book is a must-have reference for any fitness professional interested in understand human movement as it relates to the environment

The book was very helpful, the figures and drawings are an excellent supplement to the class. I was able to do well on the exams from understanding of the figures.
