Having just graduated from nursing school in May 2007, I can now look back on all the books I used and see which were the most helpful. This one rates in the top tier - the chapters are laid out by systems, and broken down to very simple pieces of information. Sometimes the info is a bit too summarized, but for a review or a first glance at new material in the beginning of a health career or major, this book is a great help.

Excellant and the CD is supper as well. I'm so happy we used this book. I've used it in my ADN and my BSN programs. Excellant resource. Get the hand book as well... good for you bag. Well worth the price.

This is THE BEST reference for assessment I have found. The format is incredibly easy to follow. As a nursing student I understand that assessment is the core of my practice. This is one "must have" for your reference library.

Of course this book was required from my course work as I am completing a Bachelors degree in nursing. It would have taken 2 weeks to get this book at Borders Books however, I was presently suprised by Amazon's rapid availability.
