Good for the guys August 28, 2008 My husband eats these for his snack, and loves them. He prefers this flavor over all the others. He likes the mint too, and will tolerate the peanut, but hates the chocolate one.
I cannot believe the tast and the value...cheaper than candy! August 28, 2008 What could be better than someone dropping off your groceries? Dropping off months of them at a great price!
I was able to order the case, delivered at my door in days, for a better price than if I had driven to my local store with a coupon. Of course, Clif products are a staple in my home. I am a vegetarian so I am always looking for ways to add protien to my diet and these bars fill me up and satisfy a sweet tooth. They are so filling I cannot eat one whole bar but about a half at a time. Sometimes just a few bites will hold me over to the next meal. They are a quick, easy, and very tasty choice.
My family loves to pack them up for hiking or biking because they are easy to transport and really do what they say by giving you energy and filling you up quickly.
I was able to purchase this case for less than half of what my local stores sell them for AND it was delivered quickly.
Makes me hungry just thinking about it! I love having a cup of a tea and a Clif bar on hurried mornings!
quick food August 8, 2008 Tastes good. Quick meal replacement. I keep these in my fridge at the office.
Green??? Cooommmeee Onnnn August 6, 2008 2 out of 17 found this comment useful.
Was going to buy until I saw this in the add:
"Berkeley, California-based Clif Bar is committed to green business practices, joining the fight against global warming, and supporting Partners in Sustainability"
I used to be middle of the road on this eco, green, enviro BS, but with all the extra hype and the way those California eco nazi homos are ruining our economy with their f-ing 'Green' agenda, I go out of my way to avoid products from companies that tout their 'greeness'. I also look for ways to be extra 'Brown' by NOT recycling, burning my trash in my yard, using paper bags at the grocery store and then burning them later (as mentioned above), using plenty of round-up on my yard, littering, etc. If anyone has any ideas as to how to be even more 'Brown', please let me know.
Great for my elder SIL's. August 1, 2008 1 out of 1 found this comment useful.
We are caregivers for an 86 & 87 YO. Feeding them seems a bit worse than dealing with children. They both eat these very well.
Have eaten these also and find them to be most palatable.
Will continue to use these....easy choice to get the ladies their protein.
Great product and great price.
