 Soapy aftertaste August 18, 2008
I have really enjoyed the other Odwalla bars I've tried, but this one doesn't cut it for me. As far as ingredients, it gets 5 stars! But there was an aftertaste like soap. I managed to get it down, but the aftertaste was still there. I guess I could have picked up a bad one, but I don't want to buy another to compare!

This product is a great snack or breakfast item. Taste is good for a fruit bar, and the bars are substantial in size.

This was the first Odwalla bar I tried. I was attracted to the "Superfood" name and the fact that I could actually recognize a lot of the ingredients. The taste itself is very unique. There is a *slight* bitter taste to it...like tea leaves or something. (Not too overwhelming though.) All in all, it tastes "healthy." I've also tried the banana flavored one, which I prefer more. (Not to say that this one's bad though!)

The name and the green color made me afraid it would taste like grass clippings, but I was pleasantly surprised - it tastes like a banana date cookie bar. Yummy! Great alternative to candy bars and vending machine junk food.
