5 out of 5 stars non-offensive energy drink   November 17, 2008
Bawls is not the most effective energy drink, but it is certainly one of the better tasting ones as it does not leave any lingering aftertastes like most energy drinks. For caffeine addicts Bawls does nothing, but for the average person it will give you the boost you need without the harsh taste that is synonymous with energy drinks.

5 out of 5 stars tasty, but not an "energy" drink   October 27, 2008

Technically, no energy drink is an "energy" drink. They should only be marketed for what they are, a highly caffeinated beverage or soft drink. What the general public fails to realize is that the human body can only utilize energy in the form of ATP, adenosine triphosphate. ATP comes from various energy pathways in the body; READ - the body produces its own energy. Of course, once all ATP stores are used up the body goes into fatigue until ATP stores are replenished. The body makes ATP through the creatine phosphogen system, aerobic glycolysis, the kreb's cycle, lactic acid cycle, and a few other ways which the average joe doesn't need to understand. Now, until they can market a product that actually provides the body with a three phosphate adenine compound, don't expect anything other than staying up due to the high caffeine content of these drinks. Take it for what it's worth...a sleep depressor. Of course, it may not even keep you awake if you're accustomed to high caffeine intake.

As far as taste, I love the stuff 'cept I don't drink it often since I get my rest and actually exercise. At least Bawls doesn't have taurine in it which several other highly caffeinated beverages have (IE: Monster), which is an amino acid for cats and also a compound that bile is made up of.

An energy drink this is not, but it sure does taste good.

5 out of 5 stars Good Bawls   October 15, 2008
Bawls is the best tasting energy drink that I have tried. It does not bother my stomach either. This drink is worth trying, you will like it. It's like a 7up/sprite type clear soda. Very short ingredients list with only 8 different contents inside the mix.

So when i got my shipment of Bawls 10 of the 24 cans were busted contents all over the inside and basically paid for 14 cans... be careful how it is delivered.

5 out of 5 stars My Favorite Energy Drink   July 22, 2008
Bawls is unique among energy drinks. It tastes great. Think of 7UP, Sprite, Sierra Mist, and the like. While it doesn't taste exactly like those, it certainly does not taste like a typical energy drink. It is very palatable. It is very soda-like.
