 I don't understand you people December 13, 2008
Just because you've stopped wearing effective deodorant doesn't mean you have to go on strike against your taste buds. This stuff sits in my cupboard longer than the nondairy creamer I'm too scared to even look at ever since Helena Blavatsky channeled me and said it was a weigh station for William Blake's spine. Chew on that a bit, Jarvis.
I accidentally bought two boxes of the stuff: the first box I half-ate, half-threw across the room into the wastebin. Literally, I would take a big bite, my reject receptor would quickly activate and, upon sheer reflex, I would hurl the remaining husk at the window. The second box sits in a sad corner of the kitchen, sentenced to odd, drunken, late-night glances and explosive riddles from my entrails' assemblages.

For an energy bar that is marketed as being rich in chocolate flavor, these are disappointing. It's great they have no added sugar, but only if you don't sacrifice the taste. The flavor of chocolate is underwhelming and the dried fruit in these is overwhelming . I have gone through virtually an entire box, but do not feel any increase or decrease in energy, or sustained energy by eating these. They are also small and low on protein for eating these for weight training. For a diabetic these are a dream, but if you are expecting great taste, don't get your hopes up.

These bars are tastey, especially if you like dark chocolate, but they are a bit dry, so have a beverage handy. I intended these to be healthy snacks, not work out bars, but I have not finished the box after 6 weeks.

This bar has a nice chocolate flavor. I just didn't care to taste so much of the fruit in the bar. Nice chewy texture also. If you don't mind the fruit taste, you will like this bar.

Delicious bars. Note that the product name as of 8/28/08 says "Pack of 9" but the image indicates "18-pack." I placed an order a few days ago and hopefully it will be an 18-pack, as the price makes more sense. I'll update this review when I receive my order.
