Great snack for whole family! September 10, 2008
These a are great! Although, I will admit that the second time we ordered these , we ordered the chocolate brownie and chocolate chip only. The peanut butter didn't go over as well as the others. My daughter brings one in her backpack for snack time at school. They are tasty without being loaded with sugar.

These taste pretty good,kind of like a chewy cookie without being overly sweet. I liked that they had vitamins and fiber. The only drawback is that not all my kids liked them. I have 3 kids and 1 loved them, 1 kind of liked them,and 1 wasn't sure whether or not they liked them. As the mom, I liked them although I had to get used to them a little bit. Overall,I would say that it won't hurt to try them and get a healthier snack for a change!

I have liked the other Clif bars, so I was sure my kids would like these. Not so! They each have some kind of weird taste, like molasses or something.
Great for Kids and Adults June 22, 2008
Gotta love Clif Kid Bars. This variety pack is a definitely a good bargain and I enjoy all the flavors. They're not just for kids -- adults like em just as much. Wonderful taste and relatively low in calories. Always eat one a day between lunch and dinner as a quick nutritious snack that beats having a candy bar, potato chips, etc.

I guess the most important thing to start with is - my kids LOVE Z-Bars. They were introduced to these early and as far as they know, this is what granola/snack bars are. They find other, more sugar-laden, bars a little too much. I was pleasantly surprised to find this and am more than happy to ply them with this healthier alternative.
These are a great tasty snack and pretty portable. They only suffer in the hot weather when they get a melty. Otherwise, they hold the kids over from 10AM to lunch on most days. Also, the 140 calories makes them a nice snack for adults too when you're not up for a 200+ calorie bar.
I guess it's important to note the price as well. The value is great (especially if you subscribe) for a this amount of bars.
But, I repeat, the kids LOVE them - 5-stars!
