My dentist recommended this to me to prevent cavities and help with tooth sensitivity. My water is not fluoridated and tooth enamel gets thinner as we age (nothing else does, except maybe hair). I'm not gettng cavities any more, and it really does help with sensitivity. It's extremely difficult to find in brick and mortar stores. Kudos to amazon for listing it!
