Takes the guess work on cleaning by automatic shut off feature when brushing is complete. It leaves my teeth feeling like a professional job was done in cleaning my teeth every time. And I can travel with it and stays charged for a long weekend.

The Sonicare toothbrush is absolutely the best automated toothbrush on the market. I am a retired dentist that has been using this toothbrush for 5 years. I am on my second one after the first finally quit working after 4+ years. If you floss and use this toothbrush twice daily you will certainly be doing your "homework" as far as oral hygiene is concerned.

This is the second one of these that I have had, the first on lasted about 8-10 years. the battery finally gave out and I bought this 4100. I is the same as the old one except the charging base is a little better.
I think it is an excellent buy.

I have been using sonicare brushes since 1987. I have also purchased them for several of my children. This was a replacement. I have found that my teeth have had fewer cavities and my gums have been healthy while using this toothbrush. I would not use anything else.
