I got this as a christmas present a couple years ago. It works pretty well. I switched from a regular toothbrush to this and you definitely notice a difference. I don't know about getting my teeth whiter but my teeth, in general, feel cleaner. The only complaint I have is that the brush head is kinda large, the bristles a little too soft for my taste, and the shaft is short so it can be to clean my back teeth (I think my mouth is a little smaller than average too and that might be a reason as well). The crossaction regular toothbrush that I switched from worked better in that respect. I'm thinking about trying the compact replacement heads to see if that helps.

I've never felt my teeth more clean than after I use a SoniCare. Everyone should have the chance to EXPERIENCE a SoniCare in action. It moves SO FAST you can't help but KNOW your teeth are getting the best clean possible. I even heard that the original series is better than the elite because the elites aren't as powerful. Also, the elite heads fit on the original handles! What a great invention! Ingenious concept. WORTH THE MONEY!

You don't know what a clean mouth is until you use a SONICARE toothbrush! My first SONICARE was purchased about 8 years ago and I have not stopped using one since. (I recently replaced it because my last one just stopped recharging one day.)This one is a slighty different model but it does the same mouth purifying job as the last one. I remember the first visit to the dentist after I started using it and both he and the hygenist said my gums looked great and improved from the last time I was in.(I had the beginning stages of gingavitis in many of my teeth and some more advanced in others.)Since then I have always had a great checkup and my gums are healthy and teeth stay clean.Here's a TIP>>I brush with the SONICARE for the two minutes, then I floss, then pour a little LISTERINE on the brush and brush again to tighten up the gums. I can't stand to rinse with it for the whole 60 seconds but it's not as bad to BRUSH with it.BUY THIS TOOTHBRUSH!!

IT cleans well, and tickles at first but i think overall this is a sweet cleaner....
