TOO MUCH FOR A TOOTHBRUSH December 17, 2008 Waterpik quit making their 3000 model electric tooth brush three years ago that required $5 to buy 4 brushes and it did a fairly adequate job. They quit making that great product in order to make more expensive models and charge over $10 for each brush to go on them. Where will we be in five years with this BS? So much for my venting, Amazon is the cheapest place I can find Soniccare brushes. I refuse to use a Waterpic model ever again! I hope someone sees this and sends it to them.
Just Right December 15, 2008 These are what I was looking for to replace my sonicare brush. I couldn't find them in any store, maybe because I have a 2 year old model.
brusha brusha brusha November 25, 2008 I love sonicare and have my 2nd one in 4 years. They do start to lose their oomph after 2 years. The only problem with this version and these brush heads is that moisture gets inside the collar of the brush and it becomes quite disgusting inside where the magnet is. My first brush had a different design and did not have this problem. It is not enuogh to make me make a change yet but, when it is time for a new one, I will look for a better design.
It's working great! November 24, 2008 These heads work pretty well and are very strong. When they're charged completely they're even stronger!
The Best Toothbrush Around November 24, 2008 I started using Philips Sonicare on the behest of my dentist and oral hygienist. I purchased the cheaper model to start with just because I couldn't afford the more expensive elite. My wife started directly with the Elite, and it was her prompting that moved me to upgrade. I have never disliked that decision. I find the Elite the best of the two models available. It's curved head and speed have made my hygienist sing my praises for teeth that are plague free. My dentist believes that not only did the Elite model improve my oral care but that the decrease for the need for filings was the best (I agree since I don't particularly care to have my face drilled on too often). The cost of the Elite replacement brushes is minimal and the brushes last for quite some time if one does not use them to provide the conventional kind of brushing that is not needed with this battery charged tooth brush.
