My periodontist recommended I purchase a power toothbrush to really keep my teeth and gums clean. I purchased this one because I liked the 30 second timer feature. This is great for switching to each area of your mouth so you brush all your teeth equally well. I have been really happy with the toothbrush so far. It has removed all the plaque build up and kept it off. In the past, I have had to scrape it off with one of those dental picks almost 3 days after a dentist visit. I do have to charge it more often than I thought I would, about every week and a half, but I leave it off of the charger until the battery is empty. I heard this was recommended to keep up the battery life. I gave it 5 stars though because it was not enough to lower my opinion of the toothbrush. I highly recommend this toothbrush. It has done wonders for my teeth.

This is infact a good brush but not upto the mark as expected.
Pro's:
As everyone stated, it has great features
Con's:
a) Though its a great brush, there is something missing.
b) Battery life is not that good, though they have stated as 2 weeks, i could hardly get a week
c) There are no. of brushing modes, but only one speed
Bottom line is, i am not completely statisfied with it though its good.

I had an earlier model of an Oral B Professional Care toothbrush for almost four years. I really like Oral B, and my dentist highly recommended me to continue to use a similar brush. It works great, and my teeth feel really clean. I really like that I can get to each tooth. It has a digital timer on it so you know how long you have been brushing. When you brush for 2 or more minutes a smile face shows up next to the time - which is kinda cute. There are three different modes you can use to brush. Every thirty seconds the brush will vibrate a little to let you know to move on to another section of your mouth. Then at two minutes it will vibrate twice as much to tell you that you are finished. It has a nice travel case, which I really like. I couldn't really travel with my old toothbrush. The base for the toothbrush is very convenient. You can choose to just use the charger part which isn't as bulky, or you can use the other parts which hold the extra toothbrushes and create a bigger base. You don't have to keep it on the charger all the time, although you can if you want to. It will work off the charger for about a week's worth of brushing (2x a day). It's easy to keep clean and is well worth the money!

this product is one of the best i couldn't make better choice. i was looking for something that don't leave residuo on the side of my teeth and this product did the job very well and in few days u can see that your theeth becoming clean and whiter. i recommend this product to any one.
The best Power Toothbrush available today July 8, 2006
I have used Oral-B Power Toothbrushes for the last 15 years.
This is the first one that really satisfies me.
The biggest improvement is the LCD display that shows the actual battery status and when do you need to recharge it.
So the times when you went for a weekend vacation and the battery is empty are gone.
Another big improvement is the integrated travel charger and travel case. The base plate of the charging cradle can be removed and act as a small travel charger. This very handy if you travel a lot.
The different brushing modes are a nice add-on, but not essentially needed in my opinion.
Would i buy it again, yes every time.
