The best $100 that I spent! May 5, 2006 5 out of 6 found this comment useful.
Indeed.... my mouth feels so clean after that.
Many previous reviewers have indicated the wonders of this product. I can add on by saying why I chose this over Sonic Care.
Essentially, like many others, I was deciding between Sonic Care and this Oral B since they are both king of toohbrushes, and both got rave reviews. But I bought this in the end, after researching and finding out that this supports dual voltage - that way, I can use it in UK and the commonwealth countries, while Sonic Care does not (the last time I checked.)
But I highly recommend getting either e-toothbrush... indeed it's the best $100 most value added thing I could spend for myself!
Now this is THE KING OF E-BRUSHES!!! April 15, 2006 17 out of 19 found this comment useful.
I owned two Sonicares and most recent a Rotadent (which was boasted by my own dentist). The Sonicare has consistently delivered results for several years. The Rotadent stopped working after less than 3 months (which I will never touch again). I purchased the Triumph 9000 and was so impressed the cleaning power of the brush. I conducted my own un-scientific study and concluded that the OralB was more superior to the Sonicare. The superiority comes in the form of the smaller and rotating head vs. the side to side motion. I highly recommmend the Oral-B Triumph 9000.
Quality Product, Worthwhile Update! March 30, 2006 7 out of 7 found this comment useful.
This is the 2nd Oral B electric brush in my house. It replaces the previous generation which went bad after 4 years of multi-person daily usage (the brushes are interchangeable so this is not an issue).
I stick with the more expensive Oral B product because of the design and material quality. The new Triumph series is available with some excellent new heads for deeper cleaning. One of Oral B's greatest weaknesses has been the lack of brush-head varieties. The Triumph series finally solves that with a much deeper cleaning 'flossing' head design. This is a HUGE improvement over the standard soft bristle design I've been accustomed to. It also makes it more competitive with the other brands which have offered a wider variety.
The LCD display is useful since it lets you know the status of the battery and the duration of your cleaning session. There is a fairly useless mode selector which allows you to cycle between different brushing methods depending on the head you are using. But it seems gimmicky and less effective than the regular brush mode.
Otherwise, I didn't buy the Triumph for its new features, but it helped entice me to keep loyal to the brand after the old one retired.
It's a fresh new design with the features and quality you expect from Braun

Really I have tried many electrical toothbrushes, but Oral B 9400 is the best. Thank you very much
finally a power brush that has enough power March 27, 2006 I'm a vigorous and thorough manual brusher. This is the first power brush that is an improvement over my manual brushing. I've tried others, like the sonicare that my wife liked but always went back to brushing by hand because it seemed to be a better job. Not anymore. This one really works for me.
