I had used a power tooth brush for 15 years,when I needed a new brush, I bought an inexpensive unit and found that the in-and-out pulsations this model offers were not featured on it. In-and out pulsations combined with side-to-side oscillations distinguish this high quality brush. If my brush doesn't have both motions, I don't think it's any better than a manual brush. I also tried going back to a manual brush and found I was brushing too hard and damaging my gums. If painful descaling under the gums has been part of your dental cleanings, this brush will end that. Your time in the chair for cleanings will be short and probably painless. Definitely worth the cost, light weight, I take this brush when I travel as it has a very small charging unit. Since I already was sold on dual-motion power brushes, I found the timing devices and audible signals including the smiley-face handle display amusing and fun.

This toothbrush delivers! The visible record of brushing time is especially good. I really like the choices of brushing techniques. Wish it could play Ode to Joy after 2 minutes.

This is an excellent toothbrush. It cleans very well and has several settings. I used an older version, but this one is much better.

I upgraded to the Triumph from the Oral-B 8850 DLX and I am so glad that I did - this toothbrush is awesome and would recommend it to anyone considering it.
I like the feature where it knows which brushhead you are using and it automatically goes to that brush mode.

I bought this toothbrush at the recommendation of my periodontist. I was having a few trouble spots in the hard-to-reach places and because I have had radiation treatments to my lower jaw and neck I have to be especially careful as periodontal surgery is not an option. After two weeks of using this toothbrush twice a day, my trouble spots were gone and my overall periodontal health had improved. Hard to believe that it was just the brush but it did seem to make a difference. I travel regularly for work and the battery holds its charge for at least 10 days and that is with my using it twice a day for 3-4 minutes per brushing. I am very pleased with this product.
