I've been using it for about 4 months now, and no problems so far. I like it.

3 out of 5 stars Toothbrush Tips Don't Last   November 9, 2006

The tecnology and effectiveness of the toothbrush is 5 star. The problem is that the bristles on the brush wear out in about one and a half months. The toothbrush heads come two in a pack for $39 so every four months you have to spend $39 to buy toothbrush heads.

1 out of 5 stars did not work out of the box   November 7, 2006

First we purchased an e7300.
The timer did not work and the unit would turn itself off repeatedly.

Called Sonicare who confirmed it did not work and I replaced it with an e5300.

Called Sonicare who confirmed it did not work and I took it back for a refund this time.

I suppose these are good toothbrushes. I've been using Sonicare for a bit over 10 years and never had any problems other than poor battery life. However, the above experience suggests they have some bad electronics or brush heads in the distribution pipeline.

Or, now that Sonicare is owned by Phillips, quality has been compromised. It certainly was in the last razor I purchased.

I am really satisfied with the new Sonicare toothbrush. And I found it easy to buy from Amazon and it was shipped quickly. I will shop more at Amazon for the dependability.

This my 2nd Sonicare Toothbrush and I would not be without one for very long. My teeth always feel so much cleaner when I use the Sonicare.
